MR. WILSON'S HEALTH IS IMPROVED ON HIS 66TH BIRTHDAY
Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) On December 26, 1922, the Washington Bureau of the New York Tribune reports former President Woodrow Wilson* plans to spend his 66th birthday tomorrow^ "quietly with a few close friends."
The Tribune adds that according to 'intimates,' Mr. Wilson "is in better health that at any time since he has been ill."
The 28th POTUS has steadily improved and is receiving and responding to more and more mail as time passes. He may even be able to participate in the political campaign of 1924.
JFK+50 NOTE
According to "Doctor Zebra," Wilson's stroke of October 2, 1919, his third, was "catastrophic" resulting in "the most serious illness suffered by an sitting president."
Eyewitness to History says that the President was found lying unconscious on a bathroom floor at the White House bleeding from a cut on his head. WW was bedridden and "near death" for the next 17 months.
*Thomas Woodrow Wilson was born in Stanton, Virginia on December 28, 1856 & became president of Princeton University before his service as POTUS, 1913-1921. TWW died on February 3, 1924.
^Story was written on December 26th for publication the following day. TWW's birthday falls on December 28th.
