JFK'S ONLY GRANDSON EXPLORING 'A RUN FOR CONGRESS'
Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) Jack Schlossberg*, son of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg as well as the only grandson of President John F. and Mrs. Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, "has taken formal steps to explore a run for Congress in New York."
These steps follow Representative Jerry Nadler**'s recent announcement that he will not seek re-election to the Congress.
According to Karissa Waddick of USA Today, Jack Schlossberg sees a run for Congress as a way to "fight back against the Trump administration."
JFK+50 NOTE
Jack Schlossberg would be running for the seat representing New York's 12th Congressional District (primarily Manhattan). While he sees his candidacy as "certainly a possibility," Jerry Nadler believes JS will not "be a major candidate."
