LEE RADZIWILL, FORMER POLISH PRINCESS (1933-2019)


JFK'S SISTER-IN-LAW DIES AT 85

New York City (JFK+50) On February 15, 2019,  Caroline Lee Radziwill*, sister of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, passed away of natural causes at her home in Manhattan.  She was 85 years old.

The former princess was once the wife of Polish nobleman Prince Stanislas Radziwill.  The couple divorced in 1974.  At the time of her death, Mrs. Radziwill was divorced from her third husband.

Lee accompanied the First Lady on a tour of Italy, India and Pakistan in 1962 and gave support to her sister during the Four Dark Days of November 1963.
In 1967, Mrs. Radziwill became an actress and starred on stage in Chicago performing the lead role in "The Philadelphia Story."  In 1976, she began work in interior design.

*Caroline Lee (Princess) Radziwill (1933-2019) was born in Southampton, NY & attended Potomac School in Washington, D.C., Miss Porter's School in Connecticut & Sarah Lawrence College.  Caroline Kennedy, daughter of President & Mrs. Kennedy, is named after CLR.
