LONG WILL NOT CONTEST PRIMARY DEFEAT TO SENATOR REED
St. Louis, Missouri (JFK+50) On August 8, 1922, Breckinridge Long*, candidate for the democratic senatorial nomination from Missouri, "issued a statement saying he will neither ask for a recount nor file a contest."
