"MOONSHINE LIQUOR ORGIES IN HIGH SCHOOL SET"

ILLINOIS STATE ATTORNEY PREDICTS NO CHARGES FOR UNDERAGE RUM PARTIES & PAJAMA FROLICS

Bloomington, Illinois (JFK+50) On April 10, 1923, Lester Martin, State Attorney of Illinois, predicted "children's rum parties and pajama frolics of boys and girls from Bloomington's leading families in homes from which the parents were absent for the evening" will not be presented in court.

Mr. Martin's investigation of "alleged moonshine liquor orgies in the high school set" will continue according to the Associated Press.

The investigation has, so far, resulted in 35 arrests.

Bloomington is the county seat of McLean County, Illinois, adjacent to the town of Normal, it is located 135 miles SW of Chicago.
