'UNLESS STUDENTS FIND EVIDENCE TO THE CONTRARY"

ALPHA DELTA PHI'S 'TITUS ANDRONICUS' WILL BE FIRST PRESENTATION SINCE SHAKESPEARE'S TIME

New Haven, Connecticut (JFK+50) On March 7, 1924, The Evening Star reports "the presentation of 'Titus Andronicus'* on April 14 and 15" here in New Haven "will be the first since Shakespeare's time."

That is, "unless students of the history of the stage can find evidence to the contrary."

The play will be performed by members of the Yale Chapter of Alpha Delta Phi fraternity and will be directed by lecturer E. H. Wooley.

*Titus Andronicus is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare between 1588 & 1593.  It is thought to be the playwright's 1st tragedy.
