GRANDDAUGHTER OF JOHN D. ROCKEFELLER, SR. WEDS IN NEW YORK
New York City (JFK+50) On May 14, 1925, Abby Rockefeller, daughter of John D. Rockefeller, Jr. and granddaughter of John D. Rockefeller, Sr., co-founder of Standard Oil Corporation, was married to David M. Milton "at the Rockefeller mansion" here in New York.
According to International News Service, Miss Rockefeller is the heiress to "probably the largest family fortune in the world."
The couple will honeymoon for four months in Europe.
Among the thousands of wedding gifts awaiting the newlyweds was a pearl necklace from John D. Rockefeller, Sr.
