PRESIDENT APPEALS TO NATION TO 'OBSERVE & ENFORCE THE LAW'
Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) On May 30, 1925, President Calvin Coolidge, speaking at Arlington National Cemetery "sounded a stirring appeal to the nation to observe and enforce the law."
The President charged the States with evasion of their responsibilities in this regard and causing "a loss of confidence in the enforcement of the law."
President Coolidge said...
"What we need is not more Federal government but better local government."
