"INSUFFICIENT, ILL-BALANCED & MONOTONOUS"

DOCTOR SAYS BRITAIN IS WORST FED NATION IN THE WORLD, BLAMES CHEMISTS

Manchester, England (JFK+50) On July 25, 1925, Associated Press reports that "the British nation is the worst fed nation in the world" and its' chemists have "become the greatest slayers of mankind."

This is the harsh judgment of Sir William Milligan, M.D., who expressed his views at the opening of a food exhibition held here in Manchester.

The physician describes the British diet as "insufficient, ill-balanced and monotonous."

In his view, reliance on preserved foods has resulted in many cases of dyspepsia, gastro-intestinal disease and intestinal lethargy" among the British population.

He goes even further to blame chemists, reacting to popular demand, for the discovery of food preservatives.

JFK+50 NOTE

Food preservatives, substances added to food to prevent spoilage, inhibit microbial growth & maintain quality, are included in bread, soft drinks, cheeses, margarine, processed meats & fruit juice.

If you follow Facebook or Instagram, you may have concluded, as I have, that there is hardly anything you can eat or drink that won't kill you.
