NO ELECTIONS IN ITALY UNTIL 1929
Cremona, Italy (JFK+50) On March 12, 1926, Associated Press reports Italy will not have elections until 1929 "when an all Fascist Chamber of Deputies will be elected."
Secretary Roberto Farinacci* said...
"The government and party will select the candidates...from those party members who...never have been interested in being deputies."
*Roberto Farinacci (1892-1945) was born in Isernia, Molise & became a leading Fascist politician in Italy. RF was described as "slavishly pro-German." Captured by partisans at the end of WWII, he was executed by firing squad.
