"MY SINS SEEM TO HAVE BEEN VISITED ON YOUR HEAD"

SON OF GERMAN SPY EXECUTED BEFORE FATHER SEES HIM

London, U.K. (JFK+50) On March 2, 1926, Ignatius Lincoln* was executed for murder "without having seen his father," Tribich Lincoln**.

The father was en route from the Far East to see his son after learning of the coming execution.

The sentence was carried out at Shepton Mallet Prison.

Associated Press reports that Tribich Lincoln had written to his son...

"My sins seem to have been visited on your head."

Anumuseum describes Tribich Lincoln as the "great master of fraud."

*Ignatius Emanuel Napthil Tribich (John) Lincoln was 23 years old at the time of his execution.  He was a Royal Horse artilleryman in the World War and was convicted of killing Mr. Edward Richards during a home robbery.

**Tribich Lincoln (1879-1943) was born in Hungary & became an adventurer & convicted con artist.  TL was a German spy operating in London during the World War.
