JFK TOASTS ITALY'S PRIME MINISTER
Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) On January 16, 1963, President John F. Kennedy hosted a luncheon for visiting Prime Minister Amintore Fanfani* of Italy. The Prime Minister was one of the best known post World War II politicians of his country.
*Amintore Fanfani (1908-1999) was born in Tuscany & graduated from the Universita Cattolica in Milan in 1932 where he majored in business & economics. AF joined the National Fascist Party & was a professor at the School of Fascist Mysticism in Milan.
