CNN ORIGINAL SERIES TO PREMIER THIS COMING SUNDAY NIGHT
New York City (JFK+50) On Sunday night, March 11, 2018, CNN will air the first episode of its original series titled "American Dynasties, The Kennedys."
The news network has advertised the premier over the past several weeks.
The series will feature actor Martin Sheen* as narrator. The premier will be the first episode of a six part documentary which promises to take "viewers behind the public image of America's First Family."
The title of the first episode is "The Power of Wealth." It will explore Joseph P. Kennedy Sr.'s "desire to become President" & how that desire is ultimately transferred to his first son, Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. and then his second son, John F. Kennedy.
*Ramon Antonio Estevez (Martin Sheen) was born in 1940 in Dayton, Ohio to an Irish mother & Spanish father. After taking up acting, MS appeared in a 1961 episode of "Route 66" & a 1963 episode of "The Outer Limits". In 1964, he co-starred in Broadway's "The Subject Was Roses." MS played JFK in the 1983 mini-series "Kennedy" and the POTUS in the "West Wing" tv series from 1999 to 2006.
