JFK ENJOYED THE PRESIDENCY
Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) On October 31, 1963, John F. Kennedy gave his 63rd news conference as President of the United States at the State Department auditorium.
JFK was asked if he enjoyed being President. He responded:
"I have given...the definition of happiness by the Greeks. It is full use of your powers along lines of excellence. I find....the presidency provides some happiness."
