Big Jim had received a call that a shipment was on the way to his restaurant but when he arrived there he was shot multiple times.
The Italian-born Colosimo ran the "Chicago Outfit"** from 1902 to 1920. His gang was involved in prostitution, gambling and racketeering. Eventually, the Outfit was taken over by Al Capone.
