"WELCOME BACK, AMERICA!"

JOE BIDEN IS PRESIDENT-ELECT OF THE UNITED STATES

Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) Former Vice-President Joseph R. Biden* was elected 46th President of the United States today when the state of Pennsylvania was added to the Democratic column.

Mr. Biden has already won more popular votes than any other presidential candidate in history.  As votes continue to be counted, the Democrats have more than a 4 million vote advantage.

Biden's Democratic running mate Kamala Harris** will become the first woman as well as the first African-American Vice-President of the United States.

The electoral college count stands as of this writing at 290 to 214.  North Carolina & Georgia have yet to be called.  The Republicans hold a narrow lead in NC while the Democrats have a narrow lead in GA.

Upon learning of his victory, Mr. Biden issued a statement calling on the Nation "to unite and to heal."  The President-elect and Vice-President- elect are scheduled to address the nation from Wilmington, Delaware tonight at 8 p.m.

Celebrations were held today on the streets of New York City, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, San Francisco and other cities across the country.

America's European allies approved of the outcome.  Anne Hidalgo, mayor of Paris, tweeted... "Welcome back, America."

 JFK+50 NOTE

We voted with the majority, and the minority... with the majority of voters of the United States who elected the BIDEN-HARRIS ticket, but with the minority of voters of our home state.  Tennessee, a deeply red state, chose the TRUMP-PENCE ticket by a 69% majority.

Congratulations President-elect Biden & Vice-President-elect Harris.
