JFK BORN 104 YEARS AGO IN BROOKLINE, MASSACHUSETTS

Boston, Massachusetts (JFK+50) On May 29, 1917, John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born in Brookline, a "streetcar suburb" of Boston.

JFK was the second child of Joseph P. and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy.  Dr. Frederick Good delivered the baby in the second floor bedroom utilizing the twin bed nearest a front window.

The birthplace of the future 35th POTUS is located at 83 Beals Street.  The home was built in 1901 and is now owned and operated by the National Park Service.
