"ASKING FOR PAYMENT OF REPARATIONS IN COMMODITIES"

GERMANS COMMUNICATE WITH BRITAIN & U.S. ON CREDITS

Berlin, Germany (JFK+50) On November 30, 1921, reports from Berlin indicate "the executive committee of the Imperial Union of German Industry" is discussing the question of raising credits.

Hugo Stinnes*, the committee's financier, reported on his recent visit to London.

A committee of six will communicate with economic circles in both Great Britain and the United States concerning credits.

The Germans hope that the Allies will allow payment of reparations in the form of chemicals, dyes, potash and other commodities. 

*Hugo Dieter Stinnes (1870-1924) was born in Mulheim,Germany & became a prominent capitalist & founding member of the German People's Party.
