*Andrew Ellicott's Territory of Columbia was the first map of the Federal Territory commissioned by President George Washington. It includes Pierre L'Enfant's Plan & the established port of Georgetown. It was the only official map of the entire "Territory of Columbia" for nearly seventy years.
