"DISCOVERED WITHIN 4TH CASKET OF BLAZING GOLD"

SARCOPHAGUS OF KING TUT REVEALED BY HOWARD CARTER

Luxor, Egypt (JFK+50) On January 4, 1924, the Associated Press reports "the sarcophagus of Tutankhamen has been brought to light after remaining hidden for more than 3000 years."

It was discovered "within the fourth casket of blazing gold."

Howard Carter unbolted the doors of the fourth shrine and thus established the fact that the final resting place of King Tut had been discovered.
