Syracuse, New York (JFK+50) On January 6, 1924, The Evening Star reports one Thomas A. Dolan, "having figured in automobile accidents in which several persons were injured" was sentenced "to keep away from the state of New York."

The sentence was handed down by Judge Barnum who warned Mr. Dolan if he returns to the state he will be arrested.

The judge said...

"The fact that we are going to lose you is of great comfort to us!"

The Associated Press says that Mr. Dolan boarded a train for Los Angeles.  New York's loss is California's gain.
