FANS INVITED TO LISTEN TO PLAY BY PLAY BROADCAST OF NATIONALS VS YANKEES GAME

The Times says this will be the first time, other than the World Series, "where the details of any baseball game have been broadcast in this manner."

The announcer of the broadcast will be Louis A. Dougher, sports editor of the Times, who is also known as 'Skillet Finn, Esquire'*.

*All games in the Nationals v Yankees series took place in New York.  On Aug 28, 1924 Washington defeated NY 11 to 6, on Aug 29, 1924, Nationals 5 Yankees 1, & on Aug 31, Washington defeated NY 4 to 2 in 10 innings.

JFK+50 NOTE
