"'THE BIRDS & THE....' WELL JUST BIRDS IN RUSSIA"

SOVIETS BAN BOOKS ABOUT ANTS & BEES IN WHICH 'QUEENS' ARE MENTIONED

Leipzig, Germany (JFK+50) On August 27, 1924, the Associated Press reports that Soviet authorities "have prohibited the importation into Russia of books about ants and bees in which 'queens' are mentioned."

The AP report comes from a German weekly publication devoted to the book trade.

The report states...

"The Bolsheviki...object to the description of colonies of ants and bees as helpless when lacking the ruling power of their queens."

JFK+50 NOTE

The queen is mother of most, if not all, bees in a beehive.  The worker bees provide the queen with her every need & follow & fiercely protect her.  Likewise, the queen is mother of most ants in a colony.  Thus, it would be logical to assume that bees and ants are not communists.
