"ENORMOUS NUMBER OF HUMAN & ANIMAL SKELETONS"

RUSSIAN EXPLORER DISCOVERS WHAT HE BELIEVES TO BE 'THE BIRTHPLACE OF MAN'

Urga, Mongolia (JFK+50) On September 23, 1924, the Associated Press reports that "Professor Peter Kozloff*, Russian explorer, has discovered...an enormous number of skeletons of...unknown animals and many human remains."

This discovery here in Mongolia has led the professor to believe that the region "may have been the birthplace of man" and origin of the "animal and reptile world."

Prof Kozloff, says the AP, has decided to remain in Mongolia and that three archeologists and biologists are on their way here to assist him.

*Peter K. Kozloff (1863-1935) was a Russian & Soviet traveler & explorer.  His studies included ancient sites of Mongolia & Tibet.
