MICHIGAN BANKER SENTENCED TO BE A 'SPECIMEN FOR STUDY" IN PSYCHOLOGY CLASS
Toledo, Ohio (JFK+50) On December 13, 1925, The Sunday Star reports that yesterday Municipal Judge Homer Ramsey handed down "one of the most unusual sentences in the history of Toledo's courts."
Banker Carl Kilbortz of Monroe, Michigan was sentenced to become "a specimen for study by the University of Toledo psychology class."
Just what did Mr. Kilbortz do to deserve such a punishment?
Well, according to Judge Ramsey, he "ran amuck" in his car last night "wrecking two other cars and a house." In addition to the unusual sentence, Kilbortz paid "all court costs."
