WOODROW WILSON 'MAY TELL HIS OWN INSIDE STORY'
Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) On December 13, 1922, the Washington Bureau of the New York Tribune datelines a front page story announcing that former president Woodrow Wilson "may tell his own inside story."
The announcement came following a report that the 28th POTUS has abandoned his law partnership with Bainbridge Colby*. The law firm says that Mr. Wilson would now be "turning energies to subjects that long ago invited him."
*Bainbridge Colby (1869-1950) joined with Woodrow Wilson in setting up a law firm in 1921 although poor health prohibited the former POTUS from actual practice. BC was co-founder of the U.S. Progressive Party & served as WW's last Secretary of State. He was known for promotion of the Good Neighbor policy for Latin America.
