JFK+50 NOTE
I apologize for not being able to file a post yesterday. I was in Washington, D.C. & I was unable to connect to my hotel's internet. I do have an older computer, but had no trouble connecting at home before or after the trip.
I did see several groups of National Guard troops while in the Nation's Capital. They all were very friendly. I'm sure they would rather be home with their families instead of marching around Washington in military gear. Two groups that we spoke with were from Louisiana and Mississippi.
