Jacqueline Lee Bouvier Kennedy was born at Southampton Hospital in Southampton, New York on July 28, 1929**. Jackie's parents were John Vernou "Blackjack" Bouvier III and Janet Norton Lee. The couple divorced in 1940 and Janet married Hugh D. Auchincloss in 1942.
