HARDING TO ANNOUNCE CORPS OF CITIZEN ADVISERS
Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) On October 1, 1921, it was learned that President Warren G. Harding was expected to announce "the selection of a corps of citizens who will advise and counsel the American delegates on the public aspects of the problems to be solved at the forthcoming conference on the Limitations of Armaments and Far Eastern questions."
The citizen corps would include women, laborers, representatives of veterans associations, as well as people of "other walks of life."
