"TREATIES ARE ASSURED OF EARLY RATIFICATION"

SENATE SETS UP 'QUICK VOTE' ON PEACE TREATIES

Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) On September 30, 1921, the United States Senate "reached an agreement to vote on the German, Austrian and Hungarian peace treaties."

The date of the vote is set for October 14.  Debate will be limited on that date to allow for a "quick vote."

The New York Tribune states...

"The agreement means the treaties are assured of early ratification."

President Warren G. Harding is said to "be pleased."
