THOUSANDS OF PHYSICIANS PRACTICE UNDER FAKE DIPLOMAS & LICENSES
St. Louis, Missouri (JFK+50) On October 20, 1923, it was announced by St. Louis prosecuting officials that "information alleging...probably between 10,000 and 15,000 persons are practicing medicine under fake diplomas and licenses."
The fake documentation, according to the Evening Star, was provided by "diploma mills*" operated by "cliques of physicians."
*Diploma Mills are schools more interested in profit than providing a quality education. Their 'degrees' require little, if any, academic work.
