"BEEN VOTING 69 YEARS, ALWAYS THE SAME TICKET"

CHAUNCEY DEPEW VOTES STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN TICKET...AGAIN!

New York City (JFK+50) On November 6, 1923, former United States Senator Chauncey M. Depew* voted at the West 55th Street precinct here in New York.  Mr. Depew, accompanied by his wife, is 89 years of age.

He said...

"I believe I am the oldest voter in the district.  I've been voting sixty-nine years and have just got into the habit and I have always voted the same ticket."

*Chauncey Mitchell Depew (1834-1928) was born in Peekskill, New York & graduated Yale College.  CMD served as Secretary of State (NY) 1864-1865, and U.S. Senator (R-NY) 1899-1911.
