"A STAUNCH DEMOCRAT OF KING GEORGE COUNTY VIRGINIA"

FARMER WHO ADMIRED WILSON WAS BORN & DIED ON THE SAME DAYS OF THE LATE POTUS

Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) On February 7, 1924, The Evening Star reports that it has become known today that one Mr. S. J. Tinsley, a farmer of King George County*, Virginia, born on the same day as Woodrow Wilson, became ill at the same time the 28th POTUS was last stricken and died two minutes after Mr. Wilson's passing.

The Star reports that Mr. Tinsley was a "staunch democrat" and "ardent and devoted admirer" of Woodrow Wilson.

The Virginia farmer, who is survived by four children, was buried in Petersburg.

Woodrow Wilson & S.J. Tinsley were born on December 28, 1856 & died on February 3, 1924.

*King George County was established in 1720 & named in honor of King George I of Great Britain.  Today the county's largest employer is the US Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division.
