PRESIDENT HAS TOOTHACHE ATTENDED TO BY DENTIST
Plymouth, Vermont (JFK+50) On August 15, 1925, The Evening Star reports that President Calvin Coolidge, visiting here in Plymouth with his father, "suffered through the night from a crowned tooth."
The President found it necessary to "motor" to Woodstock* today to have the tooth attended to by family friend and dentist, Dr. F.R. Jewett.
The good dentist "removed the crown" and "put in a temporary filling." Mr. Coolidge is to return later in the day for further treatment.
*Woodstock is located in the Green Mountains of Windsor County, Vermont. It is known for its New England atmosphere & beauty.
