FASCIST MEETING IN GERMANY RESULTS IN CASUALTIES
Chemnitz, Saxony, Germany (JFK+50) On November 19, 1925, Associated Press reports that last evening a discussion of the topic "Lenin or Hitler" was staged here in Chemnitz* "by local Fascisti**."
The discussion led to the smashing of "a thousand beer glasses, 500 coffee cups and 600 tables and chairs."
The 'Beer Mug Brawl' resulted in 60 persons requiring bandages and one dead from injuries.
When police arrived on the scene, "many of the Communists jumped through broken windows into the garden" and the ringleaders were found to be "armed with clubs."
