"DOCTOR DOESN'T REGARD CONDITION AS CRITICAL"

PPRESIDENT'S FATHER SUFFERS 'ANOTHER' ATTACK OF 'HEART BLOCK'

Plymouth, Vermont (JFK+50) On November 18, 1925, Col. John C. Coolidge, Sr.*, father of the President of the United States, suffered "another attack of 'heart block."

Associated Press reports "the attack passed" quickly and the Colonel's physician, Dr. A.M. Cram, doesn't regard his condition as critical.

J. Russell Young says the President "may go to...the home of his father directly from New York" where he will be speaking tomorrow night.

*John Calvin Coolidge, Sr. (1845-1926) was born in Plymouth, Vermont & became a farmer, store owner & member of the state militia.  JCC also served in the Vermont legislature & senate.  

JFK+50 NOTE

Col. Coolidge as a justice of the peace administered the presidential oath of office to his son on Aug 3 1923 upon the death of President Harding.
