"CAN YOU SHAKE A MEAN FOOT & SHIMMY?"

READERS INVITED TO ATTEND STAR-ORPHEUM CHARLESTON CONTEST

Seattle, Washington (JFK+50) On November 27, 1925, The Seattle Star asks readers this question...

"Can you shake a mean foot and shimmy from toes to eyebrows?"

If your answer is yes, you are invited to attend the Star-Orpheum Charleston Contest to be held next week.

There is no age limit, anyone from toddler to grandparents can dance.  The first and second place prizes will be silver loving cups.

JFK+50 NOTE

A smaller 'President' Theater, the first Orpheum in Seattle, Washington was replaced by a new building in 1927.
