"MOST PROSPEROUS YEAR IN D.C. BUSINESS HISTORY"

YEAR CLOSES IN ERA OF 'NATIONAL CONFIDENCE' IN COMMON SENSE COOLIDGE GOVERNMENT

Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) On December 20, 1925, The Sunday Star reports that as the year 1925 is coming to a close, the Nation's Capital is experiencing "the most prosperous year" in Washington business history.

The Star states...

"The prosperity in Washington...is but the reflection of an era of national confidence and restored peacetime stability."

The Star claims the "outstanding factor" behind this prosperity is the "abiding faith of the whole Nation in the common sense Government of the Coolidge administration."
