THE EVENING STAR ANNOUNCES PREMIER OF NEW TV MAGAZINE
Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) On September 25, 1960, The Evening Star announces "Premier Day" for its new television magazine.
The Star promises readers "color pictures of new stars and new shows, a premier of the Nixon-Kennedy debates" as well as a program listing featuring the names and descriptions of shows to be telecast.
The magazine will come attached to The Evening Star "with a dab of glue."
JFK+50 NOTE
The most popular American television magazine was "TV GUIDE" which was founded in NYC in 1948 & first published in 1953.
