DOCTOR SAYS BETTER TO GOLF THAN DO BUSINESS
New York City (JFK+50) On July 6, 1923, the Associated Press reports that Dr. F.P. Millard of Toronto, speaking here in New York yesterday at the annual convention of the American Osteopathic Association*, advises "If golf interferes with business, drop business."
Dr. Millard said...
"Dropping business now and then is a good way to make the business grow and to have some fun with it besides."
The good doctor went on to say that "golf is a thoroughly osteopathic** game" which is beneficial for the "stiffness of the spine or creakiness of the joints" in those folks approaching middle-age.
*American Osteopathic Association, founded in 1897 & headquartered in Chicago, represents 176,000 osteopathic medical doctors & students in the U.S.
**osteopathic is a "whole person" approach treating the whole person rather than just symptoms
