"I DO NOT EXPECT I SHALL WITNESS FIRES"

NEW YORK DOCTOR INVESTIGATES 'GHOST' IN NOVA SCOTIA

Caledonia Mills, Nova Scotia (JFK+50) Dr. Walter Franklin Prince* of New York, acting director of the American Society for Psychical** Research***, came to Nova Scotia today "to investigate the 'ghost' that robbed Alex MacDonald of a home (and) killed his cattle."

Mr. MacDonald escorted Dr. Prince and his party to his former home where the ghost was alleged to have started fires.  While others slept on the floor, Dr. Prince slept alone in one of the rooms.

He, however, had come prepared.  The Doctor set up an "electrical ghost alarm apparatus" with bells and strings.  Despite the precautions, Dr. Prince really didn't expect much to occur.

Dr. Prince said...

"No extravagant expectations should be entertained.  I do not expect that I shall witness fires or visible visitors."
