"CHEERFUL FORECAST FOR EUROPE''S FUTURE"

 BRITS OPTIMISTIC ON WORLD WAR'S TENTH ANNIVERSARY 

 London (JFK+50) On August 4, 1924, "lengthy war memories" along with "cheerful forecasts for Europe's future," were published by British newspapers on the tenth anniversary of England's entrance into World War One.

Premier Ramsay MacDonald* "was lauded for his success in the...reparations conference."

*James Ramsay MacDonald (1866-1937) was born in Lossiemouth, UK & attended University of London. JRM served as PM in 1924, 1929-1931.  He was one of the founders of the British Labour Party.
