WARREN RESIGNS AS US AMBASSADOR TO MEXICO
Washington, D.C. (JFK+50) On August 5, 1924, President Calvin Coolidge accepted the formal resignation of his ambassador to Mexico, Charles B. Warren*.
The President praised Ambassador Warren's part in restoring diplomatic relations with Mexico. Mr. Coolidge said...
"Your mission to Mexico has been attended with the most gratifying success."
*Charles Beecher Warren (1870-1936) was born in Bay City, Michigan & graduated University of Michigan 1891. CBW served in the US Army in WWI & as ambassador to Japan & Mexico.
